    Yes, I agree with him. It is grammatically correct to say "beyond compare" because it is a set expression. However, as to his saying about using the word "pulchritude", I think he had prepared this word beforehand and said it intentionally. I don't think the word suddenly came to his mind and then he used it in the conversation. Maybe I am too skeptical. But I think it is very natural that words related to beauty could be used in the Beauty Contest. So it was very likely that he wanted to make use of the golden opportunity to show off his English. Seeing from the corpora, one will find that this word is seldom used even by native speakers.

    Yes, you can use the expression if you like.

    You need to put "to" after the word "listen".
    e.g. I am listening to some music.

    Also, the word "rideo" should be spelled as "radio".
